    Yeah, but 81 on the flat is not for everyday, while 61 is achievable.

    Saw a guy one night last week walking along the chapelizod bypass on a dark stretch in the customary dark clothes .
    How he wasn't killed I don't know.

    Indeed, a pedestrian can walk on any road (except a motorway), but only if no footpath is provided.

    Got done by a garda hairdryer there back in 2003...58 in a 50 mph zone...have always taken care there since...60kph is madness ..

    Good news is that there's a Public Notice ad in today's papers saying the 80kmh limit is being reinstated. No date mentioned so I assume immediate enough.
