    Anyone know how long sheep would need to be off land after spreading ground lime ?

    My view would be until you're satisfied it's washed into the ground so wait for rain anyway.

    Not sure that it's toxic in any way (open to correction) but livestock wont be inclined to graze lime covered grass.

    Its not toxic but may burn the hooves and mouth if present in very large quantities. I tend to let it wash in after spreading before I let stock out on a treated field.

    I've spread 2 tonne a acre with sheep still in field and never any issues
