    It doesn't matter.

    The table doesn't lie.

We are 4th and behind spurs and Leicester for a reason.

    Actually, it does matter.

You're right though, the table doesn't lie. I'm sure you were constantly banging on about it when we were on top of it.

Yes I was for the last 6 years when we have been top.

    But come February, guess what?

We haven't shown that we are better though. Both are ahead of us and in many peoples view we have a harder run-in too. Time will tell.

It's not that we are miles off the top either.
It's our inability to score, to grind out results and to put so-called inferior teams to the sword. Plus the fact that we seem to flatter to deceive annually.

Its only the last couple we haven't scored in, people are crazy if they think we were never gonna have a blip

Exactly, we've been on a bad run. That will be turned around

Hopefully this weekend, one of Leicester and city have to drop points or maybe both, so we have to taje advantage which is something we've failed to do previously

In the first 4 games of the season Giroud scored 1 goal and other than that we relied on OGs. We're not the team that doesn't score and we're not the team that always scores, we're in the middle. That middle will be good enough for 2nd or 3rd this year along with probably getting embarrassed in the CL once again.

We have like the second to worst shots to goals ratio in the league. If we were just on an average ratio, we would be top of the league and have probably the best goal differential.

It's still a good thing that we are creating plenty of chances. If we weren't doing that, then even I would be pretty depressed.

I guess two games ago we were top so it shows how much it can swing in only a small amount of time.

Another smashing of Leicester might knock the stuffing out of them.

Wouldn't it be great to put 5 past them again!

Wenger says that Arsenal are a Company.
Does that make him a Company director, Company manager or foreman and are we all about money and profits as many suspect??

I'm guessing it's to do with season ticket holders and gold members being charged an extra £18 for the barca tie as part of their cup credits. Was uproar yesterday about it. Wenger said this morning that tv money would be spent on transfers rather than reducing ticket prices. I don't think people would mind that if he was actually spending the money.

Unfortunate that he chose the word company rather than club or even organisation.

    Disgraceful stuff really.

The most pathetic thing is that Wenger said that the TV money will just be absorbed by the inevitable inflation on player prices and wages. Unbelievable.

Really? you don't need a Masters in Economics to see that is going to happen, it's been happening for the last 40 years - not sure what's pathetic about it ?

Having said that ticket prices are too high at the Emirates and efforts should be made to reduce them somewhat.

Hardly unbelievable, if teams know you have more money in your pocket they're gonna want more for their players, its common sense.

It's pathetic because he's saying these things at a time when Arsenal haven't spent for a couple of windows, and have just put a surcharge on tickets for the Barca match. Already he has said there's little value in the market, and now he's saying that there will be even less value next summer. I know he's being honest, but they sure aren't winning over any fans.....even the positive ones.

Surely if you have the money to spend, and you know there's going to be inflation in player value, why not spend up? There's very little risk of losing money, as players can be shipped out for inflated prices in the future.

Chelsea is a prime example of a club that has spent big on players, but are also selling off players (who aren't even world class) for crazy money.

So basically common sense tells you that Arsenal have screwed themselves over by stockpiling money?

Stockpiling cash is never looked upon as a good move for a business

Back to matters on the pitch. Welbeck lasted 60 mins in the U21 game against Brighton. Arsenal lead 3 - 0 but I don't think Danny was involved in any of the goals.

I was referring to TV money

I was referring to his need to point this out, after two windows of not spending and adding an extra charge for Barca tickets. He's his own worst enemy.
