I am 21 years old and my hairline is rescinding. It's a patterned hair loss as i can see from both side or my forehead. I believe this is hereditary because whole of my paternal family are kinda bald, but i am too young for that. If I got FUE hair transplant early on... won't the hairline keep receding? And in the end I'll have like a row of hair in the front of my head, then some baldness, and then more hair in the back?

I was browsing in google and found it on a medical tourism company which is the Wales International Medical Center. any reviews?

Are you female? If so I'd also talk to your doc as there may be a hormonal problem underlying the hair loss

Hey OP. Male here and had an FUE operation a few months ago (I have a diary thread in the Gentleman's Club) on the same area you describe.

As you're probably aware, an FUE op will involve a surgeon making an estimate of how many grafts you require (usually based on a photo you email), and the implanted hairs will be taken from your donor area - back of the head for men, and most likely the same area for women.

After the operation, you'll be told how many grafts have been taken, and how many remain. So if you are only losing hair around the front of your head and temples, you can get that seen to with a few thousand grafts and if the hair keeps receding behind the transplanted hairs, you should still have a few thousand left for that too. The problem is that you will always have a finite amount, so it's important to start looking at that likes of minoxidil to help stabilise your current hair loss.

In my case I had 2250 grafts transplanted, and was told I have 2000 remaining, since my hair is naturally very fine. That's not a huge amount (hoping that things stabilise as I get older), but most people I've seen online have much larger total counts.

On the subject of surgeons, choose very carefully on this and explore before/after photos and reviews online. The surgeon, rather than the clinic itself, is what you ultimately base your decision on. The best FUE results I've seen in Europe are from doctors in Turkey (where I went) and Belgium. Not sure if I can name the doctors here, but there are a few whose names always crop up online. Best of luck.
