They do change the INT/DIS/STR. Just some Armor pieces are locked to one or two of the above.

I think Claws Of Amakahara can not roll INT.

Potentially stupid question: I'm being very tempted by Taken King on the PS4, with an intriguing sale price. However, I don't own vanilla Destiny any more - at least not the physical disc. Can I play Taken King without it?

No, vanilla Destiny is required, either as a disc or a digital download. A copy of vanilla Destiny is included with The Taken King Legendary Edition which is currently €30 on PSN.

Picked up the Mida while waiting on the turkey, is bones of eao worth it? I always use triple jump on my hunter anyway.

When the orxy raid first came out I and another of the lads would use last years bones of eao for the first bit of the raid, although sometimes I'd forget to switch back.
And of course anything that can help me jump is good in my book.:p

I must say Im really surprised, and disappointed, how fast the taken king went from new content to "go back to wandering around the cosmodrome, and while you're there kill 25 of these, 15 of these, 2 of them and pick up one of these"

After all the positive reviews I read about this expansion, I was eh, expecting a bit more?
