yeah, I wasn't expecting his icon to be on the map. I was wandering around the tower for a half hour or so and I saw a lot more people doing the same

Same here - got the same hunter helmet 3 times, same gloves 3 times and chest once - oh and one other set of gloves. No exotic weapon drops iirc.

And all the hunter exotics that i have got SUCK.

So how's D2? Been away travelling a few weeks and not back til near the end of the month. Hearing good things about pve but pvp? Is the raid good? Will it be difficult to pick up when everyone else has had it a few weeks?

As someone who had only played vanilla destiny 1 before this, I'm really enjoying Destiny 2.
Not having to go to orbit every time you change locations makes the whole game feel so much more streamlined.

Unfortunately, I still have no friends that play this game so feel free to throw me a friend request/invite me to your fireteam since I'm just hitting 265 and not sure what to do now.

I think you might actually prefer some the changes to PvP over D1 as a whole as there is far, far less instakill stuff.

I got the raider flux and the lucky raspberry twice each.
But i also got Sunspot, Sturm,hard light x2, Skyburners Oath, Cold heart from my hunter.
Raider Flux is awesome chest price for hunter for arc subclass. Each kill extends it and causes extra damage. For yellow bosses I can basically trot right up to them and uppercut them galore for about 15-20 secs. It’s definitely getting a nerf i reckon.

Pretty much the same, but now Countdown play type with the new 4v4 setup.

Countdown is confirmed for the first three weeks at the very least. The road map Bungie put out erroneously had it down as survival for next week.

The tokens for npc's? They don't go higher than 265 and every other engram I've gotten besides exotics have been 265 as well.

They do, just slowly.
Grinding power level can be a bit slow, mines just going up one every so often, currently getting 278 blue and legendary engrams, not sure how high blue ones go yet.

Indeed, when over 265 blues decrypt to -5 your max light level excluding mods.

I think I'm like 273 or 274 now but besides Milestones and the odd strike all my drops are 265. Can't even remember the last time I got a legendary mod as well, is there any easier way to get them?.

buy rare mods from the gunsmith with glimmer and when you're level 280 you can make legendaries

to get to 280 public events for exotic farming, nightfall, raid, weekly flashpoints, clan xp (anything that gives you powerful gear)
