X Factor Prediction League 2015

So last year we had two winners - dark crystal and JP Liz V1. Let's see who can do it this year

There are three different steps to the league this year, and I'm going to explain them in the next 3 posts to keep it as clear as possible...so bear with me

1. Overall winner - 10 bonus points (predictions can be made up until 8pm this Saturday, 24th October)

2. Final 12 - up to 12 points available (predictions can be made up until 8pm this Saturday, 24th October)

3. Weekly bottom 2/3, and eliminated - up to 12 points available (predictions to be made every week before start of Saturday night show)




I will tally up the scores as soon as I can after the Sunday night show (probably on a Monday) and will post them as a spreadsheet. If anyone sees any mistakes, please let me know!


And please feel free to join the league at any stage of the competition

1. Overall winner

A bonus 10 points if you can predict the overall winner of X Factor 2015. Anyone who makes this prediction will hold onto their 10 points until their predicted contestant is eliminated.

This prediction can only be made this week, up until the start of the Saturday night judges' house episode (24th October, 8pm)

2. Final 12

One point for each of the final 12 you predict correctly.

This prediction can only be made this week, up until the start of the Saturday night judges' house episode (24th October, 8pm)

3. Weekly Predictions

Predictions MUST be posted before the first performer on the Saturday night show. Any predictions posted after that time will not be counted.

Your predictions every week should look like this:

In case of a single elimination
Bottom 2 - Act x and act y.
Eliminated - Act y.

In case of a double elimination
Bottom 3- act x, act y and act z
Eliminated - Act x and act y


You should always include a prediction for double elimination, as there will probably be lots this year with so few live shows.

In case of a single elimination
Single Bottom 2 act correct -3 points
Both both two acts correct - 6
Correct act eliminated - 6

In case of a double elimination
Single Bottom 3 act correct -2 points
Two Bottom 3 acts correct - 4 points
All bottom 3 acts correct - 6 points
Eliminated act correct - 6 points

So the maximum points awarded each week will be 12.

In the case of twists in any week, I will review the formula, provided we are given notice prior to the live show.

Lots of people were thrown by Reggie n Bollie making it, and by Jennifer NOT making it



I haven't included the overall prediction score yet, as I have a post here in relation to it, to see if people want to just do it again from this week as so many people missed out
