Your 100m Sprint Time?

I was out running earlier today and at the end of a quick 2-2.5k run I remembered I had been wanting to test how fast I could run 100m. I rarely sprint and have no training in sprinting (or in running in general!). In any case, I managed it in about 16 seconds for the 100m, but I think I could get this down a little more…

To answer the original question, only time I've run 100m on a track was at the end of a track session where we'd done intervals from 300m up to 1k and finished with some 100m sprints.

Self timed so probably out by about a second or so I'd imagine, seemed to average around 16/17 seconds for the 100m. 100m is a lot longer than you'd think from watching on the TV is all I can say.
