One of the tweets so to speak
**** sake, all vouchers have t&c's, this isn't new. The person buying them is at fault here.

Sounds like a veritable holiday camp compared to what I was expecting.
I wonder if they took vouchers.

Such a funny little country we live in, private hospitals having ads on during prime time radio while those on the public system wait months for basic procedures.

No. It is a sort of semi-cathedral. St. Patrick's is the national cathedral and Christ Church is the city cathedral, which is why we have the two. They got taken over at the time of the reformation, and were never fully reclaimed by the Catholic church. There was a plan at one time to build a cathedral in the gardens in Merrion Square, which is Archbishop Ryan Park, but it never happened. So it is a quirky fact, that the capital city of Catholic Ireland has two Cathedrals, but neither of them are Catholic.

Love that film, who could forget that scene, have the quotes here :D

Landlady: [Roy is throwing up in the background after having had s*x with his Landlady, to keep from being evicted. The Landlady is too satisfied to care] What is it about good s*x that makes me have to crap? I guess it's all that pumpin'. Pump and dump.
[She laughs at her own jokes]
Landlady: You really jarred something loose, tiger.

He might drop the sheite stories he has run recently like Service Dogs Europe for 8 weeks worth, cancer, missing people etc and get back to consumer problems and rip offs where his show began so to speak.

I'd say the negotiations on next year's contract are warming up now, with Joe's plaintive annual demand that the show be renamed the Joe Duffy Show. All the callers on the missing sister issue and Aer Lingus vouchers were asked to refer to the Joe Duffy show and now he will go in moaning that Marian has her own show, so has Ryan, ffs even Ronan has his show and that's less than an hour a day!

You'd know he was losing listeners. They've been advertising Liveline non-stop for the last few months. Something I've never heard before. I'd be an avid listener, not cos the show is any good but I tune in for the laugh and also this thread. Over the last year I find myself turning off far more often than I used to. Too many pet subjects/projects. Dragging a dead story out for far longer than needed. As for funny friday, the post count here speaks for itself. Speaking of low post counts, today's was very low. Why? Because it was a sh1te show, full stop.

I was driving today so I couldn't post. What have Aer Lingus done to upset him? I wonder did he ask for free flights for the re-united sisters and was told to Fu*k Off. Maybe someone took him to one side and told him they're not a semi-state body like RTE anymore.

He went crazy, even called them rip off vouchers himself, something he would regularly tell a caller they couldn't say about a company.

Aer Lingus probably refused point blank to even consider advertising on his 'show'.
