If Joe found somebody in his wardrobe, he'd have a job to catch him. It's probably a luxury walk-in one.

joe would have a problem chasing them, all those chins wouldnt very aerodynamic for running after them

He should have 20 bags of bread with butter and give them out each day, enough to sustain people in need of food.

These priests do seem to have the money to give out ,wish the irish church could give the state back the billion they owe it for the abuse compensation claims they were let off the hook for

I've known Fr. Paddy for over 20 years, he is a bit old fashioned at times but he is a decent man.

What good is the security company if they have to call the Gardaí who might not have a car available to go to the scene of the crime so to speak.

Will Holy Joe mention the "Workers' Mass" he boasts about attending on Christmas Eve?

    JOE DUFFY

RTE presenter, Liveline and Spirit Levels

'YES: On the Sunday before Christmas, we always go to St Patrick's Cathedral for the service of nine lessons. My good friend June Rodgers helps to organise it. On Christmas Eve morning while preparing for the traditional Christmas Eve radio programme from Grafton Street, I slip into the 8am "workers' mass" in Clarendon Street church. On Christmas Eve night I go into the Capuchin Friary in Church Street, where singing is led by Cantor Brian Dunphy. Father Bryan Shortall leads a beautiful liturgy, in a location I will always associate with my father and grandmother.

This is absolutely hilarious , wish these shaggers would all get on a ship and feck off to a priest colony , preferably one of those islands in the south seas that are about to be submerged .

Twin brother would be handy if there was too much of the cash work of funerals and weddings going on.

Superintendent always gets involved when it's a priest gets robbed, the rest of us can wait hours to get the GARDAI to call

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

Was that priest with the twin brother on Miriam's show last night?

"Ho Ho Ho ... Merry Christmas From Strepsils".

I'd say the advertising agency were well paid for thinking up that one.

With all the mocking, there are good priests out there and I have to say it must be such a lonely life for them. Fair play to the good ones who try to help, it can't be easy with all the horror stories and f**kers that hid in their midst.
Anyhoo know this is the ll thread but for once I can't be fully cynical.
