Now that the budgets done and the SOB case has been dealt with we can start to focus on what's really important.... Halloween!

Whats everyone doing for Halloween this year? Any one got any original ideas for costumes? Its only 3 weeks away now so time to start planning :D

I'm a bit early for it I know but I really like the Halloween night so I'm just looking forward to it :D.

It's just really good fun being able to have a laugh at yourself / mates and dressing up as something ridiculous that you wouldn't normally do.

Really want to go as a Lego Man but can't find a costume online, and wouldn't possess the artistic creativity to create one.

So unless a topical news story surfaces between now and then, that is easy to string together, I shall remain void of ideas :(

I love Halloween! It's my favourite holiday. I usually make my own costume. I was going to be Toothless this year, had wing fabric and a catsuit ordered but by the looks of it, I'm not gonna get off work so I can't do anything for it this year... :( quite disappointed to be honest. On the plus side, I now have 4 2x1m cuts of black fabric and a catsuit...

Chasing Jamie Lee Curtis around a house. Still looking well I believe.....

Oh I actually saw when I was looking for my own, you might be interested in it -> http://www.thecostumeshop.ie/costume-ideas/1980s-90s-costumes/mr-blockhead-kids-costume.html I'm not sure how good it is but I've used stuff from that website in previous years and never had a problem so far. I may just have been lucky though!

I had considered it as well but said I'd go with some thing else.

Well i'm going trick or treating this year, why should kids get all the fun. If people give funny looks to a 30 year old man in a spiderman outfit then they need to get over themselves

Can one still go as Jimmy Savile?

Everyone did it before we learnt of his 'errors'.

Would be a great one now though, a proper ghoul.

Now then, now then! *rotates cigar*

Usual Halloween for me. Dress up as a curmudgeon, and enjoy the night with curtains drawn and doorbell disconnected.

    What's Halloween for 'humbug'?

Here's a Jimmy costume you can use for inspiration.

I would consider attendance at an event that requires fancy dress a type of hell on Earth - so I won't be doing that.

No idea, but it woill ptobably involve ****loads of fireworks. It;;s also the rugby world cup final, so could be some cause for celebration if Ireland can pull it off....

Probably bring the kids around a few doors before going home and leaving the trick or treaters to the other-half. :D
Will probably end up eating most of the sweets too.
And making sure the cats are in.

I don't particularly like Halloween tbh.

Film Fatale are doing another Prohibition Dance night at IMMA with a macabre theme. 1920 film horror all the way. I'll be the fat bald Bela Lugosi, tux'ed up and sipping a blood-orange Martini.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I'm doing it frugally this year, a load of toilet roll wrapped around me, I'll be the Mummy ..

Putting on cat ears I got in penneys and handing out sweets to the kids. I actually love Halloween and giving out all the sweets and seeing all the kids dressed up. Always make an effort with the sweets, giving out party bags with crisps, haribos, smarties, chuppa chups, and a selection of American miniatures. Could never stand it as a kid when people gave fruit or nuts. Sure I had that at home!

I always hide the sweets behind the door but leave a basket of fruit in full view. Reactions are hilarious.

    Poor little bastard.

I was at a Charity Ball last year for Halloween.

It was kinda like what I'd imagine a novelty stripper convention to be like.

A good friend is having his wedding on Halloween but ISN'T doing a costume reception. Missed trick imo. I'll be going as a divorce lawyer!

Going to Halloween party for kids and parents this weekend. We're going as the Addams family (well morticia, Gomez and the baby). Not quite sure my 3yr old will let me draw on a moustache and eyebrows. Putting a lot of effort in, lots of sewing and props to buy.

Halloween night will be answering the door all night to trick or treaters but I enjoy that.

I just don't like when teenagers show up sheepishly holding a bag with no costume or just a mask. They're getting fruit!

Scream 1 & 2 Halloween Party at the Lighthouse I suspect.

I'll be the one in the Michael Myers mask staring at the girls dressed as French Maids.
