Leaving cert repeat question?

If I decide to repeat the leaving cert this year is there a rule that I have to sit english again? I got a B3 in higher level and I am repeating for the sole purpose of getting higher points. Therefore am I allowed to repeat the lc again without english even though i already have the b3 which will act as a minimum entry…

You don't have to re-sit English if you have obtained the minimum requirement for your course. I'm also repeating this year but I'm not re-sitting Irish.
