.. it rarely seems to drop in price but just spotted the GOTY Edition is available to download for €14 on the Playstation Store at the minute.

Seems about the right time to pick it up methinks!

That's only the DLC that is set before the main game.

But I have seen the ps4 version that incudes the DLC going for far less then this for a digital code.

This is just a prequel mission. Not the whole game.

If anyone is on the fence about grabbing this game, do it! It's the best game i've ever played.

Bought the full version for when I take my ps3 out of the box.

File seems quite small? Around 6GB for everything. I thought the game was over 20GB when released?

I downloaded it earlier and was thinking the same but then I went to play it after installing everything and the game downloaded the rest, took over an hour to download and install after opening the game.

Should be a code you enter in the 'redeem code' section of the store, or this page online.

Great deal, downloading it now (had €3.50 in my wallet that I forgot about, so €10.50 for the game). Bought it ages ago from amazon for €30, played it and sold it on for €30 but definitely worth a replay for that amount.

On a side note, did anyone notice the resident evil deal, all games bar revelations for €50.

I haven't tried that myself yet but it might be worth it. Though it wouldn't make sense that sony are trying to charge €0.00 - I believe they'll do €1 to test the payment method and then instantly refund it when it clears, but the 0.00 makes no sense...

I've emailed sony so I'll let you know when I hear back from them.

No word back from Sony at all. I ended up being able to get the game directly on the console itself last night without any issue, but was having trouble downloading the game. It was giving up some error number (I don't recall exactly what one) when trying to verify the game in the download manager. I had to do a few restarts of the console to get it to work, and basically just keep trying.

Finally able to get this , i hadnt tried to purchase through my ps3 but once i did it worked fine .
I spoke to sony about not being able to purchase it from my pc , they said because i had never purchased anything before from my pc that my account was locked out from doing so , they said after 72 hours i should be able to purchase once the lock out has expired

This game better be worth it

Must have been what happened me - owned the PS3 since 2008 but only as a blu ray player. The whole experience of getting hold of this game has been a pain in the hole.

They still haven't answered my email 3 days later.

I only have recently got a PS3 and never bought anything on the store before.

I didnt enter my credit card details, as i wanted to use PayPal. I kept getting an error trying to pay with this, so i put money from PayPal into the wallet and was able to make the purchase then. Although it meant topping up €15 when I only wanted to spend €12 as you can only lodge into the wallet in €5 increments.

I guess if I used my credit card instead of PayPal I could have just spent what I wanted to, but I only signed up to the PSN when I saw this offer and it was my first purchase.

I've got the 12 GB version so need to upgrade the hard drive before I actually download the game, so won't know until then if it has been a complete success, but so far so good.
