    Munster:
    Felix Jones - capt.; Andrew Conway, David Johnston, Tyler Bleyendaal, Gerhard van den Heever; Ian Keatley, Duncan Williams;
James Cronin, Duncan Casey, Stephen Archer; Mark Chisholm, Dave Foley; Dave O'Callaghan, Jack O'Donoghue, CJ Stander

Replacements: Mike Sherry, Dave Kilcoyne, BJ Botha, Robin Copeland, Jordan Coghlan, Cathal Sheridan, Rory Scannell, Shane Monahan

    Glasgow:
    15. Rory Hughes
    14. Junior Bulumakau
    13. Hugh Blake
    12. Fraser Lyle
    11. Lee Jones
    10. Rory Clegg
    9. Grayson Hart

    1. Alex Allan
    2. Pat MacArthur
    3. D’arcy Rae
    4. Rob Harley (Captain)
    5. Scott Cummings
    6. Tyrone Holmes
    7. Chris Fusaro
    8. Adam Ashe

    Replacements

    16. Fergus Scott
    17. Jerry Yanuyanutawa
    18. Zander Fagerson
    19. Kieran Low
    20. James Eddie
    21. Mike Blair
    22. Gregor Hunter
    23. Robbie Fergusson

Not available due to injury: Glenn Bryce (ankle), Alex Dunbar (knee), Peter Murchie (elbow), Mike Cusack (back).

No Saili in the 23. Odd. I understand having a look at Bleyendaal in the centre but I thought Saili would play a lot in the opening rounds. This is a playoff 8 pointer too. It's a big show of support for David Johnston so that's a positive!

GVDH gets his first appearance of the season. He'll have a big fight on his hands when Earls and Zebo return with Andrew Conway looking sharp as well.

Great kick off time. It makes for a nice warm up to the Kiwis vs Georgia game just as I make it in from work.

Great kick off time. It makes for a nice warm up to the Kiwis vs Georgia game just as I make it in from work.

Not really, 6pm on a Friday kickoff time is stupid. What about traveling fan? And people that work! Dont finish work till half 5 and so I'm not going.

    Copeland covering 2nd row.

Actually looking at the team again it looks like DOC I will move into the row.

I know but given the amount of rugby it's the lesser of two evils. The alternatives are to play on Saturday or Sunday and clash with junior/youths games, which is the case with Leinsters game on TG4 on Saturday, or to play it later and clash with the RWC game on TV and TG4 won't be letting that happen. Also, the Ireland game time is hamstringing things just a little.

Mind you, Ulster have theirs on at 6:05 tomorrow; at least they aren't clashing with the Angelus :-)

As I said on the Munster thread, a later KO and a clash with New Zealand trashing Georgia would be far better for the average Munster fan than a 6pm KO.

Leinster and Connachts games both clash with RWC games tomorrow.

Hay, if you're not prepared to sneak out of work 2 hours early to go watch Munster vs Glasgow in the pro 12 then you're not a true Munster fan.

I hardly recognise a name on the Glasgow team - great opportunity for Munster.

No Saili in the 23. Odd.

I think he's suffering a bout of flu.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

A 4-0 victory league points wise would be sweet but looking at both sides maybe Munster can nab a BP.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

So Glasgow have 21 on RWC duty - great chance for Munster.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,470 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

That is a dire decision from the covering Glasgow defender there, think it was Clegg.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Woeful pass from Williams.

Looking at that Glasgow team any less than 5 points would be a missed opportunity

....and Munster are alll over them in the scrum.

But I'm surprised how dangerous Glasgow look in attack.

    Lovely score.

[edit] Called back for a knock on. Real pity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Lovely handling by Munster for that try....or is it? Ah hell.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,666 ✭✭✭Pink Fairy

It wasn't a knock on, rubbish call

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

From the angle it looked to have gone backwards, but maybe it was a poor angle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Keatley going for the corner???

    Utterly dominant up front.

Lineout is poor so far though.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,666 ✭✭✭Pink Fairy

Could be 2 or 3 Glasgow players in the bin by now

Ah that was inevitable from Munster.

Great Try. Dave O'C has been brilliant so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Referee really doing a number on Foley.

    Both penalties have been ridiculous!

    Cracking kick Keats!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

What in god's name is frankie Sheehan on about? Just because they win a penalty doesn't make it a good call by Keatley to kick down the pitch

Are you kidding me? Did you not hear his witty jibe about Mick O'Driscoll's hairline? Worth the Sky Sports subscription fee alone!

Did we play well so far, and anyone standing out? Felix, CJ or Kilcoyne?

Keatley and DOC are the standout players for me.

Lads, just saw team sheet. How come Kilcoyne is benching? Rotation or some other reason? Ta

Referee needs to open his eyes a little, ridiculous call again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Yes! Only 30 mins of Frankie left.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

9 of 12 points have been from penalties given against Foley. All of which were harsh.

Did he run off with Whitehouse's GF?
