Using Region 1 DVDs on Toshiba Satellite Pro

    I bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop earlier this year, before moving to Canada.

    So far it has been very inconsistent with the DVDs it lets me play. It has no problem playing some DVDs, but for others, it tells me "the DVD has a different region code than your player, and accordingly cannot be played".

    Does anyone know how I can change the Region setting on the laptop to Region 1, or neutral, so that it can play Region 1 DVDs?
