Never really rated him. Always going for the negative option when he has to make a choice in a match. (Prime example.. THAT substitution in Euro2004)
Found his bank account always more important than anything else.
Pretty sure the only reason he stayed at Sunderland was just that... money.

This is the guy who had the current talented squad of Belgians under his reign but resigned to go to Russia for a better pay check.
