Never mind the sun's rays which the effects of can be 'somewhat reduced' via Faraday cages.

What about the yon 270 metres of Asteroid 2012 TT5 zooming in the space neighborhood tomorrow. Then possibly another couple of stray rocks later on in the week also.

All to coincide with the 28th Sept's fancy blood moon tetrad (religious folklore).

Perhaps wear a yellow hardhat and keep a flask of tribulation tea handy anyway.
