Again with only 3 games in the sunday evening slot, wtf nfl

Peculiar choice of game by Sky Sports 2 on the Sunday 6pm slot. That would have been my 6th or 7th choice.

Absolutely massive game for Chip in New York. A loss and the knives are out.

Gonna be an interesting week for the cowboys, if the defence can play like they did Sunday we might have a shot Sunday between randle Williams and escobar, but I genuinely think Dan Baileys leg will be the only hope we have.

Has it always been this way ?

Prior to RedZone days I only ever watched one game at a time obviously so I was not as aware of what other games were on during that slot.

9pm is the perfect time for me to sit down and watch RedZone properly and its a pain that there are so few games compared to the 6pm slot.

I think I'll give Godell a shout about it.

he was poor against the Titans, he had 2 long bombs which he got because of terrible coverage with our 3rd CB.

    Taking out those 2 throws

he was 6 from 13 for 80 yards

    He wasnt that good

He'll get his fines waived, they'll discuss about a pay rise next year and he'll come back playing.
No cap space left for the Seahawks this year.

Am I mad going for the Titans to beat the Colts? Part of me think their slide this year (and the Titans revival) are being overblown, which is how people tend to react to the first game or two of the season. Maybe the Colts aren't as bad and the Titans aren't as good as it's all looked up to now...but I'm still going for Tennessee...

thinking the same thing. The Colts looked really bad Monday night and Luck was under constant pressure forcing him to make plenty of bad decisions. The Titans front seven are no slouches, I expect him to be under a lot of pressure again Sunday. It'll be interesting to see how he deals with it. Vonte Davis left with a suspected concussion, so if he misses Sunday the Colts will have a very depleted secondary

Titans D will no doubt put him under pressure, Casey, Morgan an Orakpo will cause problems, Al Woods had a very good game at NT and destroyed Alex Mack a few times.

The Titans problems will come if McCourty isnt available, the Colts will likely stick TY on Sensabaugh and that isn't going to end well.

On a titans offense pov, the O-line is a bit of a mess similar to the colts however we are probably a bit better in the run blocking game.

I expect to see Hunter and DGB on the outside catching balls, the CBs are small..

The chance of a Bears win just went from 0% to 0%.

The chance of a shut out just went from 50% to 75- 80%.

It'll be grand. When they put all their resources into stopping the run, it'll be Pickles' time to shine, throwing endless majestic TD passes to our spectacular wide receivers against that crappy Seahawks secondary.

Bears fans, pre QB injury, you couldn't have picked a better time to play us.

3rd straight losses (incl SB 49), Kam missing, offence not clicking.

Yeah but Kam is back, we have a D made up almost entirely of guys playing out of position or who are just bad players, so if your O needs some confidence, this should do the trick. We are, in fact, exactly the game the hawks need this week to take out some frustration over their poor start. It'll be a massacre, plain and simple.

Now, I think people are completely underestimating the Bears this year, I think we'll be a better team than people expect, but this week will not be a good example of it. If we keep the gap below 20 points I'd be, frankly, amazed.

Stafford is supposed to be badly banged up and could miss the Broncos game (not that it will make any real difference)

Indeed it might be a good idea for the Lions to sit Stafford - he is a tough sob but the Broncos defence will hammer him around the pitch if he is playing.

He participated in full practice today, so its a positive indication that he'll play.
Although that doesn't inspire me with any hope of a win this weekend. The O-line is a mess, which has left Stafford taking a battering for the last two weeks & the defence has looked lost without Levy. (he didn't practice today).

I have said it before, and I will say it again. Bengals are going to go deep this season. Dalton has grown up, has some good weapons and is going to absolutely school the Ravens secondary on Sunday.

Cinicnatti have the defence to snuffle out the Ravens. Ravens have a good offence, I just think Bengals can do it.

    The Dalton era is beginning.

Dalton, though a solid QB, is not about to, nor will he ever have an era tbh

    ^Totally agree.

It's way more about their oline being brilliant than dalton maturing.

Anyway he's done it before in the regular season, it's more about being able to carry that over into the playoffs (when the pressure is really on)

I see lots of home wins this week. Still so hard to get a read on a lot of the teams (New England and Green Bay - and Chicago for the wrong reasons, excepted!)

Several teams find themselves in must win games, even this early in the season. I fancy the Ravens at home to pull one out against the Bengals, while I think the Colts will go to 0-3 away to the Titans. Make or break for Philadelphia also, but after seeing the Monday night performance, I think they will get a rough ride in New York this week.

Sums up the Browns really. Your 1st round QB is starting to show a little something and then you bench him for a 36 year old never was. How they still have fans is beyond me.

The only banker for me is the Patriots. I don't really have confidence in anyone else.

Falcons were terrible against the Giants but considering both Romo and Dez are out I can't see the Cowboys being able to put up enough points. Skins @ Giants is going to be a really poor game IMO.

An important test for the Steelers offence now after something of a free reign last week. Will the first week or second week be the typical performance..

I thought the Steelers did quite well in Week one, and considering they get LeVeon Bell back to compliment DeAngelo Williams (or possibly the other way around), and looking at what Washington were able to do on the ground to the Rams last week, I would be confident the Steelers will do well this week. With Bryant returning in week 5, and Roethlisberger looking like he's picking up from where he left off last year I would have no worries. The Defense on the other hand........

Steelers offense has looked very good two weeks in a row but the Rams defense is going to be incredibly tough to get past. They had an off week last week but they were savage in week one and considering their personnel I'd expect them to return to that form.

after talking up the game, I wish I had Gamepass so I could watch Steelers v Rams instead of New Orleans v Carolina. Anyone want to do a primer for that game to get me in the mood?
