Obviously we'll be doing our utmost to win.
This is more important than most league games due to it being The Arse.

I'm fairly optimistic to be honest..
I'm gonna have a stab at our selection...
If i get 7 correct i'll be amazed, bearing in mind City on Saturday.

Expect a very similar team to last Sunday. Erikson will start on the bench and should be used to try and change the game if required to do so.

It might be the early stages of the crappy league cup but this is a NLD, anything other than are strongest possible starting XI would be a dangerous move by Poch, particularly if it back fired badly.

Arsenal are looking out of sorts in attack, especially Walcott and Giroud, but Sanchez is always a treat and looks like he could explode with goals once the first one goes in.

I agree he needs a rest, but with Bentaleb, Mason and Dembele all out, now is not the time to rest him.

I d rest him. No point having him flogged for the city game. Most likely is covering a lot more distance at a higher intensity than what he is used to.

Fair enough. I'd often say the same for the League Cup, but it's Arsenal, and this season I think we could really do with a cup run, so we need to put out a decent side.

Bring Son on for Townsend and Njie for Chadli around 55 to 60th minutes, and hopefully, we will win this. Their right back is on yellow which is very good for Clinton and team.

Harry confidence is letting us down. Dier looks hurt which is worry.

Yes he brings back bad memories of the dead wood we cleared during the summer, he can't just go from almost out the door to playing against our biggest rivals. I am baffled.

... Performance wise we matched them as a team. Couple of below par individual performances was the difference in the end.

Can't help but feel that our strongest XI would have beaten them comfortably.

They didn't play full strength team as well. I think we were good for the majority of the match.

My only worry is Kane at the moment. He needs to get a goal or two otherwise pressure is piling up on him.

I'm really pissed with Poch about Clinton. The kid needs more than 5 to 10 minutes to show his worth. These little cameo is not doing him any favour at all.
