change mail exchange error

    I'm trying to change my mail exchange to google and followed the blacknight guide online but I keep getting the following error.

    [font=Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif]Error at the first position. Mail exchanger host name must contain latin characters, digits, hyphens and points only. It should be valid domain name.[/font]

    Sorry you've run into issues
    Please check that you haven't added a dot (.) at the end of the record, as the system will automatically add it for you once you've added the record
    So instead of adding:
    [font=Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif]ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.[/font]
    [font=Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif]you should add:[/font]
    [font=Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif]ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM[/font]
