Anywhere to get loan over a longer term than 5 years?

    Hi

    We're looking to borrow money for some home renovations. We (myself and the GF) will either need a loan of around €30k each or a joint loan of €60k. Not sure if the joint loan will make a difference.

    We recently took out a mortgage and would like to extend and upgrade some of the house.

    After doing the sums, borrowing over 5 years (which most places only offer) it would be very tough. Paying it back over 8 years+ makes it a lot more affordable.

    PTSB seem to offer longer term loans. Is there anywhere else offering longer than 5 years?
