Previously owned by the Devil himself it seems, with the 666 registration.

Is that why it says Exempt Special on the NCT cert?

04 focus 1.6 with a few months test for 650. Too good to be true? Looks clean but very few photos.

Might be worth going for a wee look.

Less than 3 weeks test. I'd pass.

Yeah, why would they put till March on the ad when it's only got a few weeks. Annoying as hell that.

I always just assume that ads are incorrect, have mistakes or even lies in them. Just checking the things that can be checked myself. Only takes a minute.

Someone with a disability I presume.

Does a disability warrant this though?

It still does the NCT as normal, its just the class of car is different. I presume connected with reduced vrt/tax?

Sold a car to a lad with a disability, he told me he was tax exempt so could be that.

Do these have the swirl flap issue the 320d did?

My Dad used to be registered(?) as a disabled driver. He never took a driving test and never had to take the regular two year test that is required of some disabled drivers. He paid full whack tax though and had regular NCTs.

Anyway he got a letter in the door a couple of years ago informing that he was no longer eligible for whatever he was eligible for, which was strange because the limb never grew back :pac:

It's a petrol engine. No swirl flaps.

If any of you see anything nice in Sligo/Mayo around the 1k or below please do post it here. Need a decent size saloon, prefer petrol 1.8ish, big enough boot.

This looks clean and decent value
    1.8 zetec
    Test till May
    Tax till April
    3 owners on cars Ireland
    Supposedly 118k miles
Asking €950 but up 13 days with a low view count ;)

Roscommon shouldn't be too far for ya!

Cheers! I'll give them a shout about it. What would you offer??

500 as a starting bid standing in front of them if ya do it over the phone they might take offence :P

With the bit of tax though and an 03 plate anything round 7 or 800 would be sound value.
Provided it's not a henhouse in the flesh. Suspension rattles would be the main concern with only 4 months test left.

I'd start low though as I'd doubt it's garnered much attention from other prospective buyers.

€600. Maybe go up a tiny little bit during the negotiations if the owner is genuinely shocked at your offer :pac:

to me, €500 would be a downright insult. The car is advertised for nearly double that.

Feck1n hate that when people don't update an add its not like it takes that long to do.

And yes I may be a small bit of a bastard :P but in my book buying cars isn't a friend making exercise ;)

Yeah, gone. And like a pleb before I rang him I was onto the insurance to see what it would cost me to change, but at least now I know. Imagine, an extra €55 to go from a C5 petrol to a Mondeo petrol. Where do they pull this stuff from??
