Can anyone explain to me how come some events, like the recent Ulster Chess Championships, Kilkenny and Bunratty etc., offer live coverage of results, round by round and live games (even live video feed in the Ulster CC) while tonight I'm trawling the websites and I can't even find the results of this weekend's City of Dublin event? It seems a bit bizarre, what am I missing?

I believe the carrier pigeons are en route so the results should be hitting the the wireless within 2 weeks.

The outright winner of the Masters was Colm Daly and also outright was the winner of the Challengers (1200-1600), Gabriel Mirza. I'm sorry I cannot remember the others but anyway both those winners played really well and sportingly and, under the able stewardship of Herbert Scarry aided by President Pat Fitzsimons, a good time was had by all.

Mind you the AGM hustings has started early with competing literature doing the rounds but sin sceal eile!
