Lidl my man. They do handy little snack packs of nuts and seeds for around 50c

Actually, I might piggy back on this thread to ask if anyone knows the best place to get billtogg or beef jerky snacks?

Lidl sell big pouches of Walnuts/Almonds/Brazil Nuts/Cashews for only €2.99 each.
    Big size too.

They also have sacks of nuts where you measure your own amount out and weigh them before paying.
Little tip for you; always buy almonds in the cooking/baking aisle..they're way cheaper.

Are they cheaper to buy and weigh from the sack as opposed to the 2.99 bags?

Really Organic Nuts are better if you can afford it there cheap in Lidl for a reason. And buying in a baking aisle would not be best brands like Shamrock are a rip off and pretty poor quality.

Google if you feel the need for information. Even visually the cashew/almonds/walnuts among others i buy are totally different. There bigger and have more flavor. But all the foods you should eat organic theirs a premium on there price.

Bull. Absolutely nothing wrong with non-organic produce. No difference whatsoever except the price which can be extortionate. The nuts in Lidl are perfectly fine.

I did google it, didn't find anything particularly convincing. I thought you might have something.

Tesco own brand mixed nuts (250g) about €3.50. Another option.

I don't think it's defensive, OP asked for nuts at a "reasonable price", you've advised a more expensive option for little more that a better looking cashew.

And responded with "google it" when asked if he had any justification.

I buy 1kg of unsalted cashews for around 10e in asian supermarkets. Roast them slightly if you want a party in your mouth.
