No point in trying to make a sensible discussion if it's constantly being met with overly defensive retorts. There is no comparison with a cloud of eliquid vapor and the amount of aerosol produced making a cup of coffee.

Well isn't that part of the problem? We get told of the chemicals in vapor but without context its meaningless. You say theirs danger in the aerosol from ecig vapor based on the fact it contains chemicals some of which are known carcinogenic, I say the same statement is equally true of coffee and it is, the difference being someone implied a danger from vapor and no one warned you with the same scare triggers about coffee aerosol.

Your claim that we don't know long term is true but at the same time its only half true. The claim that ecig aerosol contains toxins is true but without putting it in context (at levels known to pose no danger) its nothing more than waffle intended to scare not inform.

Remember their are more carcinogenic particles in the vicinity of a BBQ than in a room full of vapour yet no one is calling for a ban on bbq because of the risk from the aerosol. Well not outside California!

It's not a sensible discussion either when an opinion is presented as proven fact. The jury might be out on vaping in general, but there's not a shred of evidence to suggest second hand vapour harms anybody. That's a fact, so it's not unreasonable to compare it to coffee fumes, farts or anything else that happens to be airborne.
