    It's mainly odeon and imc cinemas, and then a few others around the country, for example the only cinemas in Cork are the Reel cinemas in Ballincollig and Blackpool.

    got a code for odeon via sms and it states .. valid until 12:45 on 31st dec 2016 .. so does that mean I get longer than 7 days to use it ??

    I suppose this also applies to this thread; I went for the 2 for 1 meal option, same Ts&Cs, use within 7 days, would this normally be 7 days to the minute (i.e. if you got the voucher at lunch time you couldn't use it for dinner on the 7th day) or to midnight of the expiry date?

    Does this mean I could just get a free Meteor SIM, top it up by a fiver, and after 30 days I can claim a free cinema ticket and the 2 for 1 dining? And thereafter do nothing, but any time I want to use either offer again just to up by a fiver and wait 24 hours?
    Just need to stick the SIM in whenever I want to claim the offer?

    I redeemed the two for one code for four star pizza, but it's useless. It only applies to 16" pizza with 3 toppings which are €22 each. Four star already have a code on their site for 50% off when you spend over €40, so you could just use that code and choose from a larger variety of €22 large pizzas with more toppings. I had a look at the Apache offer and that is only for medium pizzas on a Tuesday! Not too sure about the other dining offers.

    The terms and conditions say the redemption code is valid for 7 days.

    But when I redeemed the code, the text said "and remember this code expires at 19.1 on the 31st December 2016"!!!!


    A bit confused??? Anyone know what the deal is with the expiry date

    The terms and conditions say the redemption code is valid for 7 days.

    But when I redeemed the code, the text said "and remember this code expires at 19.1 on the 31st December 2016"!!!!


    A bit confused??? Anyone know what the deal is with the expiry date

    I got the same text message. I'd guess its an error and it's only valid for 7 days.

    2 of us used our meteor code in one of the Odeon cinemas last night, had no problem with it. Place was empty, but suited us. Was delighted with the free ticket, been meaning to visit the cinema for ages. They were also giving out their own 40% off coupons for the next visit.

    i don't think the food offers are great , lots of the offers you can anyway in the restaurants anyway.
    milanos - Two main courses for the price of one.
    four star pizza - 2 x 16” 3 topping pizzas for the price of 1
    apache pizza - 2 for 1 offer is valid on Tuesdays only on Medium 11.5" set pizza or 4 toppings max

    other restaurants depending on what county your are in.

    I asked on meteor chat when the code expires and its the date in the text message which is DEC 2016 ... maybe go ask on chat just to clarify for you

    yeah i got that date aswell of DEC 2016 but i thought it was an error and a bit ridiculous. I'll go on chat to clarify though. On the website it says 7 days till it expires, i'll have a check.

    The IMC code I ordered 'expires at 13.42 on the 16th of September'. Which is precisely 7 days to the minute after I ordered it!

    Used it tonight without any issues other than it took the cashier ages to confirm the validity of the code.

    Used 2 codes last night in Reel cinema Blackpool. No problems and grand cheap night out.
    Wife and I plan to go every month now.
    We both are on a €20 (all texts, 3gb data, 400 min 4G plan) so essentially we are getting that for about 12 if you use the cinema regularly each month. Throw in a few meal deals and its better again.

    Just want to check the code format you are being sent - I'm on a mobile broadband data only plan so code gets sent to modem then I have to login and send it on to my mobile - anyway I'm not sure that I did it correctly.

    I got a 14 digit code e.g. 085xxxxxxxxxxx. I thought it would be a shorter code so just checking what format others got - don't want to turn up at cinema to be told it's not the right code!

    mine was a 9 digit odoen

    ya, you get texted a code , then show it at the cinema, staff type the code into the till and give you your free ticket.
