where can you get another copy of the garda vetting forms needed for teaching thanks

Sorry. I wouldn't really have a clue. I think you might need to enquire with the teaching council about garda vetting.

Hopefully that link has the information you need.

Is the email confirming you paid proof of registration?

I'm still unsure if I have finished it?

I got 2 emails - one was a receipt for the payment, the other was confirmation of registration.

Yeah I only got one email of proof of payment, none saying proof of registration? Weird as there was nowhere for me to enter my SUSI number, should there have been?

Check your private email for the proof of registration, it might not have gone to your dcu email.

Hi, no it's not in the spam folder either, in my regualar email or my DCU one, should I start getting worried? :(:(

I never got one either, just a proof of payment. I did get an error email to my private account from postmaster@dcu so maybe that's it.

I found this on the DCU registration FAQ.
How do I know if I have registered correctly?
On Step 7 of the process you can view your Proof of Registration. You will know you are correctly registered when you see your current academic year of study and your modules. If they are displaying modules from last year then you have not clicked 'I Accept' at Step 5 of Rules and Regulations so be sure to go back and do this.

It says year one and all my modules so I'd guess it's safe to assume that I'm registered.

There was a place to enter your SUSI number. Under the fee payment option, select number 3 of student levy only €43. Once you select that, it will ask for your SUSI application numberand then you'll proceed to an options page of how to pay the student levy.

    Hi,

I registered last Wednesday, but never got an email to say I registered successfully. I can get into my DCU email, and my portal. I've even received an email from one the lecturers. And one from the support services. So I think I'm registered. But not 100% This notice on the letter in the Welcome pack that says "It is your responsibility to make sure you are registered properly" is a bit of a worry, since I didn't get any email. I've tried contacting the registry on the phone and they wont pick up. I've left messages and they've yet to contact me back. I've emailed them, and they won't give me a straight answer, whether I'm registered or not. I'm a bit anxious that if I turn up on Wednesday for the start of orientation, they'll say I'm not registered. I've also already paid my fees in full for my year, but yet there's no indication of this on my portal. Would really appreciate some advice. Thanks so much in advance.

    Hey I'm having similar problems
Did you get an email for proof of payment of fees? Everyone else seems to have but I didn't but when I rang the fees office they said the payments gone through, but still haven't gotten an email. I'm in the same situation nervous for Wednesday now

    Hiya,

I also rang the Fees Office on two occasions, and they said they received my payment under the Free Fees Initiative. I haven't received an email about registration or fees. But I suspect that they cross anyone's student number off the email list, if that student rang ahead about fees. You are about the eighth person I've heard that it's happened to. No email, after they've called. Too much of a coincidence? Would've been nice to have it in writing, though. I also had conflicting information from the registry office. I was told by a staff member that I had to make the payment before I registered. Which I did. Then, when I was registering, I was asked for payment details. My portal doesn't give any indication that I've paid already. So, two big reasons to be anxious😖 What course you doing?

Do we not need the email of proof of payment when collecting student cards though? We might just be getting a bit paranoid but I agree it would have been nice to get the email just for safety. Also any idea what we need to bring for first day of orientation?
    Actuarial maths wbu?

Since you got offered your course and you've accepted, they won't be asking for stuff like L.C. or FETAC results. So all you need is :
You passport, or the long version of birth cert; Proof of student number; (I'm bringing my CAO acceptance) proof of payment of fees (which should be your bank transfer, or credit card payment) I presume you're on the Free Fees, like me? If not, you just need to print off your SUSI grant status page. I paid my fees back on August 18. I phoned the fees office on August 20, & again on August 28, to check my fees went through. I asked the first time, will I not need written proof of entitlement to Free Fees. They said that they will already know, when they log into the system with the student number. I still would've felt a lot better having it in writing. Apparently, you can request an email about Free Fees entitlements from the fees office, prior to registration. Was told that by a friend who's in fourth yr business. Not too sure if theyll be up for that, so close to the wire. Im sure we'll be alright. You remembered to put your student number on the payment reference? I start orientation in the morning. I'm in International Relations. Good luck😉👍🏼
