Not much going on in my hometown of a Saturday night. I've poured myself a white wine spritzer and am watching clips from 80's kids shows. This is living I tells ya.

Useless trivia question: I'll give you a thank if you can remember whose saying was "Bless my Barnacles", in the kids show I've just watched a clip from.

Keeping money and energy for a big day of porter drinking badness starting tomorrow at 1 for the minor hurling final. If Galway win the two of them I won't be home for 2 weeks.

Was at electric picnic last night. Came back to dublin for a wedding today. Have to run a bajillion miles in the morning before going back to electric picnic and my feet were too tired to stand at the wedding any more so I came home and now I'm in bed with tea :D

Just back from from eaten a bucket load of mussels washed down with a few tins of Estrella Galicia, while sitting on a pier watching trawlers and fishing boats come and go.
Now I'm back home sitting outside with a beer and the mutt for company.
It's are turn to look out for UFO's .

I was out last night and tore the ass out of it. That was enough entertainment for me.

I prefer staying in with a few drinks and talking till the early hours with someone interesting who has something to say for themselves. Tom Waits playing, candles lit, maybe a few terrifying films thrown in. Love that.

Age means two day hangovers now.
Therefore can only drink Friday's. Saturday has to be clean to ensure no residual hangover in work Monday morning.

Was roaring nonsense outside a bar till the early hours before being quiet as a mouse coming back to the dorm in the hostel.

Woke up this morning in the third trimester of a post-booze full bladder, agony when I moved. Couldn't handle a second night in the dorm, which I had already paid for, so came home.

Delighted to be vegging, watching UFC.

I'm sat at home because it's sat night.

Also because I don't get the whole "Oh no it's the weekend, you HAVE to go out!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 365 ✭✭Bullchomper

Back from the pub. For the first time in a long time (basically, ever) I was too tired to stay out and wanted to go home. It's age creeping up on me. *Shudder*

Am I the only one who thinks that work is the best place to have a hangover? Much worse to have a hangover when YOU want to do something!

I used to think that, until a hangover at work became hell on earth.
