I don't think that's too bad of a midfield they did a good job against arsenal

    Yeah but Arsenal are ****.

    Subtle enough?

It'll be a minger. I'm not watching it without most of a gallon of porter inside me.

Neither Lucas or Can have shown they can play for 90 minutes in midfield yet this season and no one to replace either one or both of them when their legs go after 60 minutes.

Firmino hasn't played a full 90 yet either.

I wouldn't fear Utd to be honest they are nothing special either I just think we will run out of legs.

Yeah, really think we need to start hard and try to get a goal or two ahead in the first half. We really don't look threatening in the final half hour.

Hopefully Lucas and Can's fitness will have improved a step or two over therapist 2 weeks anyway.

Firmino only played late last night and will only get back to the UK tomorrow. I don't think match sharpness is a problem at this stage, but he still probably won't have adjusted to the PL I think.

Both teams have been the two poorest attacking teams to watch in the league to date.

    Very true

    A 3-3 cracker it is!

Both teams have spent over half a billion on players between them in the last three season and both look terrible.

I have an appalling premonition of Felbowllaini being told to stand beside Nervol and balls being rained on to the pair of them until Dejan runs from the stadium with tears running down his face and ****e down his legs, never to be seen again. Or maybe turning up in Marco Boogers' caravan in about a month.

Hard to argue with that tbh.

Another 3-0 and the P45 will be done up for Rodgers.

What is genuinely frightening is that a combined United/Liverpool team at the minute doesn't touch Chelsea or City. And, if they could avoid injury, Arsenal would likely finish ahead of it too. After so much spend by both sides, that's dreadful.

    Did somebody say combined teams??!

That is some of the worst commentary I've ever heard. Better off muting it and enjoying the goals.

Owen celebrates like a GAA player in that video there, which is actually kind of cool. No affectation.

    Yeah, pretty shocking alright.

That list would be quite different now I think, quite a few crackers came after those.

Torres had a pair of iconic ones in successive seasons making fools of Vidic and Ferdinand respectively, and of course Riise's would be in there.

Unfortunately, it was against Barthez, so it doesn't count.

Paddy Berger could have been a great only for that knee injury against Leeds, in that Viduka game...

Paddy B was great! But I know what you mean!
Was it 4 goals in his first 2 games for Liverpool? (2 as a sub v Leicester and 2 v Chelsea)
