Don't know where O'Shea is finding the energy from but he's stepping up in fairness.

Cracking start by Mayo. That Derry goalkeeper was having a very good game until that blunder.

Clarke proves he's the best keeper in the country again. Saves Mayo again.

Best keeper in the country steps up again. The amount of goals he's prevented in the last 12 months is mad altogether.

    Great save by Clarke.

Awful, dreadful shooting. Laughably bad. Disgraceful.

Come on tell us how you really feel.

He might be awful slow with the kickouts but he's our David Clarke.

Durcan sent off now, so is he suspended for round 3?

Straight red is trouble. Defo 1 match, could be 2 iirc.

For a strike off the ball too say the commentators, looks bad alright.

Just 1 because he got a red. I think he should get a barrister and appeal it

Can someone figure out Clarke's penalty save ratio.

I'd say it's above 50% at this stage.

Looks a bad one for Keegan, hopefully not the end of the championship for him.

My God, Bernard Flynn is very hard to listen to. He's like the Ronnie Whelan of GAA commentary... "Why did he do that, that was a sitter he missed, how did he not see that, why didnt he catch that".

Agreed. Boyle is tenacious but those two are the quality in the HB line, won't get far in their absence.

I can see today why Boyle was dropped against Galway
His man kicked 3 pts from play at least in first hour before going off

The Derry team just ran out of gas in at the end of the game, they had nothing left in the tank for extra time.

Mayo win but It's a hollow victory, Unless they seriously step up their game, They don't have a prayer against Dublin, Kerry, Tyrone etc

Which disciplinary board is the one that'll let Paddy off the hook for the strike? I know the other two don't work. :D

Just in the door... had to sit through that with 5 kids under 10. It was hard to watch between the toilet breaks.

I could do with a one match ban.

Every minute listening to that on the way home was torture.

Durcan was provoked, the Derry lad had a grip on his jersey and would not let go,did the umpire/linesman see that side of it.Not saying that Durcan was right in doing what he did but he was provoked, perhaps he could get Diarmuid Connollys legal team to clear his name1

    Makes absolutely no difference.

It is against the rules to retaliate.

Almost every red card in the game is a reaction to some sort of provocation like that.
