Calorie counter and pedometer device and app

Asking for the wife, can anyone recommend a watch/strap/fitbit like device that will link to your phone that will keep track of estimated calories burnt, pedometer, hr (the usual stuff) I did mention fitbit but they are quite expensive, just wondering if there are any others out there that do the job for a hell of a lot…

Aldi had one several weeks back, they had them knocked down to clear in the electronics box in my local store a while back for about €17 from €50. Worth a look to see if they still have them.
