This tank came with purchase of Innokin Coolfire IV. This tank does have a wide bore tube the whole way through which does seem to amplify the normal crackle. This tank came with purchase of Innokin Coolfire IV.
This tank does have a wide bore tube the whole way through which does seem to amplify the normal crackle. But if I have not used the tank for a few hours, (have a handful of choices) it can emit a really loud crack on first fire. Have changed the coil using spare supplied, both are 1.5 Ω . Used 8,13 20W and Volts 3.8 up to 4.2.
Problem doesn't go away. Ideas ,please

quite normal if the wick is over saturated, I found with the original vertical Nautilus coils I got this quite a bit
