    Hi lads problem with my springer he wont lift game on land ,but he will retrive of water all day long . How do i get him lifting of land. He is good at everything else. He is just going on 2 . That doesnt matter. Any help.

    Will he retrive anything on land for u.

    yea he did for a while. A dummy and a tennis ball.

    if u say he will retrieve from water find a place where the water shallows up to nothing. pup a pair of wings on your dummy. first through the dummy in the deeper water for him give him lots of praise when he brings it back to u. then trough in in the shallower water some thing he still has to swim run through then into the water he can run throung when he masteres this every time in the shallow water may take a few sessions then trouhg it along the edge of the water close enough he is in contact with water some of the run out. keep doing this over time always giving him his first retreive where he will make a splash. And don't forget to praise every time.
