Hi i'm contemplating repeating the Leaving Cert. I am happy with my results apart from my languages which really brought my points down. Therefore I am thinking of repeating and replacing a language with a new subject like chemistry. Do you think this may be too difficult?

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

You can do it in one year, I wouldn't recommend it though, it's quite tough, especially if you have a bad teacher. What subjects did you do, what subjects are you thinking of dropping and what subjects are you good at.

Was in Rathmines last year. Friend picked up chemistry and then dropped it about 6 weeks later. I picked up Economics myself and felt it was a fairly manageable course to squeeze into one year.

Well I'm a mature student.. Late twenties and I took up leaving cert chemistry just before Christmas.. I work full time and moved house in the middle of it and I managed to get a c2 grade... And that was doing it externally...so it is definitely doable..,
