Anyone have any experience with a remapped ALZ engine (1.6 w/102bhp)

Currently getting a full engine overhaul + new clutch and flywheel so I plan on keeping the car for at least 2 years, however I find the 102 bhp is quite dead when I have two or more passengers.

I've been told the engine can get around 120bhp with a map and induction kit

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Same engine as passats, golfs etc. around the same year

Surely you're not going to get that power out of a NA petrol? I would think that's extremely optimistic...

An 8v sohc 1.6 na petrol at that. Can't see it being worth it.

Not a "performance engine" really, I'm fairly sure it doesn't even has valve timing so probably cost you as must as the cars worth to tune it to anything worth while
