    I miss the days when you received a modem with poor instructions and you had to figure it all out yourself. It was like an entrance exam for the Internet. There were less stupid people on it back in those days. Now any ninny can get on and post their vitriol via twitter or other social network.

    So:

    Stupid people
    Hatred
    Vitriol in all its forms
    Float over ads
    Flash
    Java applets

    Edit: And Captchas. There are better ones like "Select the dog from these pictures" which are decent. The standard ^b*&o34a"!rds" crap which takes a real human three attempts to get right, can GTFO.

    I must use a different Internet, not affected by a single one of those.....well maybe the click bait but there's a secret to dealing with it!

    My only gripe is that screechy noise it makes when you connect up the first time

    Spot on - frankly it's an attitude I'd gladly see the end of in general, not just limited to the Internet!

    But hey, as we're brandishing the ban hammer, why not play along :D:

    - The "fake!" brigade (anything they don't know or looks strange to them, must be fake and/or "CGI", like the Afghanistan 747 crash video from a while ago, or the Russian meteorite clips);
    - Moon hoax conspiracy theories;
    - Self-appointed "expert" videographers who can syndicate about pics/videos by the shadows only;
    - Religious nutjobs derailing random discussions;
    - Internet mob justice mentality (google "Cecil" for most recent example);
    - Duckface photos!

    Popups on Steams
    Video Ads that start randomly on popups.
    Any news site that has an Advert video before the actual video you want to watch. Drives me F$%KING BONKERS. And they always play the same ad on every video no matter how many video clips are on the page.
    I'm looking at you SKYNEWS/SKYSPORTS :mad: !!

    That's like hating raisins, being given a bowl of muesli and being told to just ignore them. This stuff is ****ing everywhere. Very hard to ignore.

    It doesn't mean I want raisins removed from everyone's muesli, just that I'd prefer they weren't in mine.
