World Championship Tipster Thread

Myles Splitz

A new idea but for those who fancy a flutter.

Rules
1) PM me for entry to this competition before Friday 21st @ 23:59
2) When entered each person is given 100e virtual stakes
3) I will post odds for top 5 in each event with others on request (or if an event hasn't been priced up yet)
4) Stakes can be used in any way (minimum bet 1e but can be used in any way so can have 1 single 100e bet)
5) Multiples and each way allowed (e/w terms will be added to each field)
6) Winnings can be used for future bets.

Person with the highest balance at the end of the championship will recieve a prize.

Do you have to get your bets in before the heats start?
Any chance of a schedule, or maybe just mark on each event the deadline for placing bets?

Can we get prices on the men's 10,000? i see the final is on the first day (along with the men's marathon)...

Bets placed before the heats yes. The one exception for this is the Prelim rounds in the 100m will not be included.

Currently working through the list of day one events as priority so all the markets priced up so far (bar some of the bigger ones initially) start on Saturday

Given number of events probably won't fit, also if that happens falls off the front page and probably missed by some so defeats the purpose of trying to drum up attention for the sports biggest event of the year.

Aim is to try and encourage the casual fan not already heavily involved in Track and field to generate interest in events they might not have previously had any interest in.

I'll try and do up a google doc the day before the championship to simplify things.

It means 1 win and two places or 2 wins and 1 place calculate the same

Effectively he has 40e staked

If all win he gets 14,332.50e
If one places and two win he gets 562.5e
If 2 place and one he gets 562.5e
If all three place he gets the same.

One loser however and they are all losers.
