There is usually a 50cent credit card charge with these, that equates to the first €3.33 not having anything off, so not worth your while ordering less than that -and yes some people would as they might order small things for collection and usually pay cash.

That's always been the case with J-E discounts, IIRC it's because they pay the cost of the discount rather than the place you're ordering from so cash wouldn't work for that.
