Losing tummy fat

    Hi all

So over the past 6 or so weeks I've changed my diet and started working out a lot - I'd do 2 x 45 minute sessions on my exercise bike a day as well as walking to and from work (3 kilometres either way).

I've reduced drinking alcohol to once a week (usually 6 beers) and my calorie intake is down to 1900 a day. I havent had a takeaway in 2 months and have never liked confectionary so dont eat crisps or chocolate

My weight as dropped from 13 st 6 to 12 st 7 and my bodyfat is down from 22% to 17%. (I'm 6'2).

I have a very small beer gut however and I haven't noticed any decrease in this.

What else do I need to do?

    Thanks

Keep doing as you're doing. You can't do anything to make fat come off from one place over another. Your body decides that.

Keep doing what you're doing and it will get there.

How long are we talking? Another few months?

    Possibly. It's hard to know.

But you're on the right track so just keep up the good work.

Maybe my love of pasta is whats setting me back. Managed to eliminate bread completely from my diet but would still have pasta in some form or another 4 or 5 days a week

so long as you account for the calories there's nothing wrong with pasta, especially if you're doing 1.5 hours cycling a day

Cut out the cards and lift weights.

Need to invest in some weights first!

You lost 13 in 6 weeks, your rate of loss will slow down.
Another 10lbs and you'll be 12%bf the belly will be gone, about 8 weeks time.

    Another 5lbs after that you'll be 10%bf and have a 6 pack,

Just keep working out and eating healthy. Build muscles so you keep growing stronger and that will help you remove the fat as well.

Not sure what is your current diet. Could you specify a little bit more?
