We will need a poll to determine north side vs south side.
Then one to choose D2, 4, 6, etc...
Narrow it down from there. Christmas 2016 here we come!

Mercantile is good but it's always absolutely packed to the point where you can barely move.

"At Darkey Kelly's we have live entertainment 7 nights of the week."

    I guess so!

Actually never heard of that place before at all.

    Good beers available.

    Has Tennents on Draught :pac:

Was in Darkey Kelly's once before, on an Easter Sunday 2 years ago. Live music alright but it was hardcore Rebel/Sectarian ballads being played. Might just have been for the people in town for the Easter parade but it might be best ye check out the band before ye commit, I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea!

The Bank is a very nice pub. Go there.

No, I will not be there

Nothing's everyones cup of tea all the same though. I'd personally rather an iffy or even a not very good ballads band to a boring indie band/singer-songwriter type, but others would disagree so there'd be no pleasing everyone.

Why is everyone so keen on music? Surely the point is to talk. How awkward will it be with a load of strangers sitting beside each other not talking cause some goon is blaring out Galway Girl. Never understood music in pubs that goes above ambient levels

What about Fibber McGees on Parnell Street? It has the huge beer garden out back that connects to the beer garden of that Polish bar on Cathal Brugha Street. By all counts lots of room and not too pricey. Loads of chinese takeaways there two if you get the munchies.

I love chicken balls. Maybe we should all go for a Chinese. 50 Boards heads sitting around eating spring rolls and chicken satay.

    Food of the Gods.

    OK OK
Let's get this show on the road :D

I don't know if music is needed, I just like Darkey Kellys as a pub, not as a music venuee.

I'll stick up an aul poll. Unless of course......sciencenerd would like to do it :D
