hi if anybody could help me it would be appreciated

I have being carering for my grandmother since she got out of hospital at the start of may I moved in with her as there was very little she could do, my home house and my grandmothers house are right beside each other exact same address

I got a call from the social welfare Thursday morning while i was just gone out for a walk after doing my morning jobs and they asked me where I was and would I be back soon, where my home house was in relation to my grannys house and she also asked me do i sleep there at night and i said i stay there most nights (when I'm not there someone else does be) they also rang the house and my grandmother answered I'm not entirely sure she said to them

friday i got a letter from social welfare with a form, its a full time care & Residence condition form and it says on the top of it "You have applied for carers allowance and our records show that you do not live with the person you are looking after". in the form i have to fill out how far do i live from caree and the amount of hours i spend with her
any thoughts on what i should do because on my original careers application and supplementary welfare allowance application I've already said that i am living with my grandmother ?
