I knew August was the start of autumn! I live in Scotland and everyone here takes the piss out of me for saying summer is May, June, and July. I told them we actually learn that in school but they had me doubting myself.

I think the seasons should be allocated by their weather. Not necessarily by dividing the year into even fractions like some OCD merchant.
August is sometimes the hottest month of the year, therefore, it counts as summer. Them's my views.

Cold month = winter

There's no need for the vitamin D sunshine. All ye need is vitamin D tablets and a banana a day or some figrolls for the serotonin happy days. The sun is too bright, it hurts the eyes.

I like to see nature act out in extremes, especially major lightning and thunder storms, it brings and makes the planet seem alive with out-bursts of mystery and awe, compared to the hot and bothered same sunny day and heat of sweat-attachment of hard to breath from 100% humidity stuck to my un-cooling fan.

We need a good storm soon. One is acoming. It will be the storm of the 21st century, and I will be in the middle of it rained on and lightning attaching itself to my body of matter encapsulating all energy to turn all humans into Vimanas.
