Restoring contacts from Android device

This is something I've been trying to figure out for a while. I know that you can restore contacts through your Google account using a laptop/desktop, but I can't figure out how you would do it from the device itself. The desktop version of gmail, when accessed through my phone, doesn't have this ability.

I mean the ability to restore your contacts as they would be up until 30 days ago.

If you do it on a PC, the rolled-back changes will sync to your phone. I doubt they have any plans to make it accessible on the phone tbh, it's not exactly a commonly-used feature

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

    Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/boardsie-enhancement-suite/

    Chrome/Edge/Opera: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/boardsie-enhancement-suit/bbgnmnfagihoohjkofdnofcfmkpdmmce

Try this app to backup and restore contacts, SMS, etc.....

Oh I mean more that I'd love to restore from my Google contacts on my phone, as opposed to doing it on a laptop and then syncing my phone. Guess it's not doable.

What was wrong with the App I linked?

It doesn't require your Laptop or syncing, your backkup can be on your phones external sd, or your internal SD, if you don't do a Factory Reset.

Of course, you can store the backup on Google Drive, or wherever in the Cloud, if you wish, but primarily, it will be stored on local media, on your phone.

If your trying to get back a contact that you deleted in the last 30 days I'm pretty sure its not possible unless perhaps you had some type of backup created beforehand.

If you sync your contacts with Google, then you can restore them as they would have been within a 30 day period through the desktop. Then sync your contacts on your phone and it will go the same way again. I was just looking for a way of doing that process, using Google, but without the need of going back to your desktop. Cancelling out that additional step. But I guess it's not possible.

Go to contacts on chrome on the phone. https://www.google.com/contacts/u/0/?cplus=0#contacts
    Click on the more menu.
Restore from there without using a pc.

I always use GCloud, available to download from Google play.

    Great app.
