KMQ if you open the folder in Windows Explorer, you can see the folder hierarchy.

Top of evening one and all Nocturnal Dwellers. :)

It is a rather lazy hazy day me thinks. Hope all are well.

*Paging SW or whatever he's currently calling himself to the Lair please!*

I needs help with the expanding the Folders thing please! :) A handful of Sub-Folders in the Main Folder have expanded displaying its' individual files by using '*.*' but loads of other Sub-Folders won't expand Goddammit!

Joyaaaaaa! Would this be in your expertise?!? How do I expand Folders inside a Main Folder to show all the individual files in one list?!

you could try using just '*'

    or try (if using Win7):
    In explorer window:
    - Right-click on "Libraries" > "New" > "Library"
    - New library appears, click "Include a folder"
    - Browse for the folder that you want to list and select "Include folder"
    - Folder appears and in the upper right corner you'll see "Arrange by: Folder"
    - Change this to "Arrange by: Name"

Now all files including files in sub-folders will be in one list.

If you can read this, you're too close!

Thanks peeps. :) Thanks Tedders but I mean actually open everything! It's hard to explain! Like say for Example you had a Folder A and in Folder A you had 5 Sub-Folders called 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, all 5 Subs having contents in each. I now want to put all the contents of each Sub-Folder 1-5 just as all individual files into the main Folder called A! :)

Can someone linky the Doggie Thread please I haz teh lazies.

go to subfolder, pres ctrl+a to select all, then ctrl+x to cut, go to A folder and press ctrl+v
    repeat for each subfolder,
in the end delete empty subfolders
voila, all is in folder A

m not sure i understood your issue but if i did then that is the answer :D

Sorry for your troubles. Any of those three things are bad enough by themselves not to mind all together.

thought I might be meeting another boards person next weekend in Dublin but looks I might be too busy with seeing my sis on stage, my Mom's birthday celebrations, and book related business. Just sent them a message there, don't want to mess up another friendship!
