I'd love to be on the waiting list as well if anyone has one spare. I think i signed up for the reservation list at the 200k odd point on the website, bound to be at a few million by now!

Could I possibly get a stay of execution on the post count requirement?

By my count you can tell I'm reader, and I usually post when I feel a point needs making but I wouldn't want to essentially spam elsewhere to bolster my total. I have no problem sharing the invite back here if I did get one.

The invites seem to be much slower to come through compared to last year.Hopefully people get sorted soon.

Eh I know I only just got added but you can actually remove me, just got one from a friend and ordered mine this minute. If I get an invites as a result I'll pass them on :P

Not adding anyone with less than 50 posts, the rule was put in for a good reason and I don't see why there should be any exceptions.

When the invites start coming how is it going to work sharing them on here? Say i get three, is it going to be up to myself to check the list and pm offers based on that? Should I post to say offers send to posters x, y, and z?

Yeh just PM whoever is next on the list.

I just got an invite and am mulling over whether to use it or not..
The invite mail does say the following though:

"Please note: This invite can only be claimed under this email address"

Does that mean I couldnt share if I wanted to?

By the way, I was at something like 105,000 on the list when I last looked a few wks ago

Yes that is right, you cannot share it.
But there are ways around it.

you can let yabba and myself know. we usually let 5 or 6 people know and if they dont reply we take them off. so usually its the ones who really want one will get one.


Either way whoever gets one please let us know first. We might not have gotten to update the list

I think that is the best way of doing it if the poster can.
Check the list and send a PM to 3 or 4 people saying the invite is available.
The invite will still be passed out on the list order but at least you have others lined up to take it if the people at the top of the list dont want it or dont reply.

I did that last year and it worked well,I was doing it by PM'ing one at a time but it takes ages to pass them on that way.

Please don't let this go to waste like the one last week. Id buy it immediately if its available?!

It was passed on and the person left it too late to claim it.We have no control over that,we didnt let it go to waste.

Just looked at the list and you are way down so I doubt you will be getting this one.

They may have been referring to the one I tried to get but they didn't want to go through the work around.

As we have already stated, no one sits at the computer all day for this, we dont get paid. Its in caps when you click on the thread to read the first post. There as well is loads of hints to boost up your post count. all you have to do is comment on posts saying thanks. It was there last year and was put in this year.

If you don't know them then you have to take a bit of a risk with sharing details somewhere along the line. Just get them to change their password to something generic and share it with you then you can process the payment and address details and then they change the password back again. You don't share any more than the work around really and saves on faffing around with changing email addresses etc.
