The gunman, who was shot dead, was named as 24-year-old Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez by the FBI and local reports said he was born in the Middle East.

surely killing american soldiers is what al qaeda/is/the illuminati should be doing? it's far better than killing civilians. these marines were part of a machine that is swanning around the world killing people. they weren't innocent, they were a legit target.

Well if males in the Middle East aged 17 to 70 are legitimate targets to be blown to pieces by US drones even if they are at a wedding then surely US military personnel IN uniform and most certainly part of the military machine, are legitimate targets too. That may be, and I'm sure there are many (the majority) peaceful Muslims out there,
but there is a problem that the Muslim community aren't doing enough to combat - and that's this radicalization.
