Hi guys, I have decided I am going to start going to the gym and am in need of advice. My aim is varied, I want to loose weight, tone up, improve fitness. I have signed up for hell and back in September so need to improve strength especially upper body and running up hills. So basically I need a bit of everything. I am currently doing a boot camp 2 nights per week and plan on going to gym 2 nights and an outside jog on 1 day and rest 2 days. Any advice wud be greatly appreciated. They didn't seem very helpful in the gym I'm going too unless I fork out for one on one time. How many reps should I aim for on weights? How long on other machines and wat ones etc. Thanks in advance.

Fork out for the one on one time. 90% of what you need will be answered and you'll be well on the way to figuring out the other 10%

    Exercises: bench, squats, deadlifts

Do progressive overload, you'll be noticeably stronger before September as long as you're consistent and eat right.

It's almost impossible to stress how important getting your form right on these lifts is.

Have one on one with a decent coach and learn the compound lifts and get a program :)
