Introducing teen to general fitness

    Hi gang

My daughter (15) has been asking me to take her to the gym for a while now and, as she seems relatively serious about it, I think I'm going to bring her next week for a look round.

She's a keen sportsperson, plays GAA, some camogie, some b'ball and is almost a fully qualified junior lifeguard...

I would like suggestions as to what to show her on the first day or two...

I had loosely planned something like this for Day 1...

A quick look around, naturally... some basic mobility exercises, I'd like her to understand the importance of helping her body move correctly... I guess I'll show her how the treadmill/CrossTrainer work... then I'd like to show her how to correctly squat and bench press... after that I figured we'd warm down a bit and head off for a swim etc...

I don't want to get too technical - or even technical at all... I want her to feel comfortable and recognise the social aspect/fun part of the gym etc... but I'd like to instil a good ideal in her from the start at the same time...

    What do y'all think?

Some bodyweight movements would be good.

    Sounds good though.

... I've had her on three protein shakes a day for the past month and we're cycling creatine too... is that enough??
