Chicken beak, sinew and other parts has never really appealed to me.

    So I'd say 0.

Well the timeframe is hardly your lifetime. I haven't decided a timeframe, am open to suggestion. I think one hour sounds about right.

20 and Bollix you could eat 100

Look at the 100 Nugget challenge on youtube.

    You wouldnt have a chance

I can eat 6 nuggets after a large big Mac meal. And a doughnut. So I'd say I'd get to 40 easily.

    TO MCDONALDS!!!!!

What is their largest box? 24?

Used to often eat one of them, a portion or two of fries, along with a few of their curry dips, and be hungry again half an hour later, so I'd say around the 40-50 mark.

In fairness though, I have not eaten anymore than a few fries from a UK or Ireland McDonalds in about 10 to 15 years, so they could have seriously changed since then.

There's a guy on Youtube who ate 100 in something like 20 minutes.
You might think you'd be able to eat loads, but you'd get full very quickly.
I reckon I could eat 20 if I had to.
    But I don't have to.
    So I won't.

Depends on whether I can have unlimited sauce with them. They function purely as a carrier for sauce.

    Zero nuggets

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,568 ✭✭✭candy-gal1

Id say maybe 40 or 50, usually get 6 with a meal whenever I go there for lunch or something, so could prob do 40 or 50 on their own easily enough!
With their curry sauce though, has to be done! :)

Shared the chilli cheese bites box with the bf before in the cinema, think theres 20 something in it, and would have eaten more :p so could be done Id say!

    They are pretty small

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_McNuggets

10 pieces (162 g), so 100 is just 1.62kg. I probably couldn't do it but know several would could.

This is a burger challenge from a place in dublin, which people have completed

    * 2lb Prime Beef Burger * 1lb Pulled Pork * 8 Slices of Cheese * 8 Crispy Bacon * 4 Fried Egg * 4 Onion Ring * Lettuce * Outback Sauce * Mayo * ALL IN ONE BUN *

Could, or would? Would overrules could, and as would is zero, could is moot.

So, in answer to your question, OP, in any given timeframe, I could eat exactly moot chicken nuggets.

Is this just eating plain nuggets, or am I allowed condiments like ketchup and the like?

The time frame in a "how many/much of x can you eat" is always one sitting, unless a a set time is agreed beforehand. It's the law.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,063 ✭✭✭Greenmachine

I believe they used to have boxes without about 20 pieces in them. I ate 2 of those once and was still hungry after. I think a larger box was far less substantial than something like a quarter pounder. I don't have the euros to feed myself an meal on nuggets. I would say I could do 60 or so no problem but would not dream of touching that burger, or do any of those man v food feats.

Can we start a sticky where the self-righteous can go to tell the world how much they dont eat the crap the rest of us do and how its all crap, body is a temple etc? That way they can save themselves from bothering when the rest of us are talking.

It's a wonder anywhere that sells anything other than organically grown wheat grass still exists since no one seems to eat anything that doesnt instantly cure cancer anymore.

I can eat a lot and really enjoy chicken nuggets. I reckon I could do 50 but would most likely puke afterwards.
    Would puking void my score?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

I got 20 on Saturday after a serious hangover and finished them all, granted I now despise chicken and BBQ sauce but I dont think I could eat much more than 20.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 285 ✭✭Deathwish4

    :pac: < 20

Depends if I can force vomit whilst eating or not to make room for more. If not, I'd say at least 60 to 70. If yes, 120 or so at a push. More if I'm allowed have a sh1t and come back to eat again.

Yum yum, have to give that some thought.

I suspect I'll manage 20-30 before needing a break. They were good enough for Usain Bolt at the 2012 London Olympics. He was pretty much living on them, breakfast, lunch and dinner, before running 100m in under 10 seconds. It's cheap protein, innit?

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

If I can have ketchup or a sauce, I'd say a 100+. If not, 20-30.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

I'd love to see all the people who claim they'd easily do 100 head out and video themselves doing it. It's not that hard to attempt. 20 nuggets is €6 at the minute.

Buy a box at a time to avoid the initial outlay of €30 if you're not confident in your own claims.:)
