FSA FPL Rate My Team Thread 2015/16

Finally, I think I have my final draft...





I have a three transfer plan.
Downgrading Azpi > S.Taylor (Or similar 4.0 'starting' defender)
Sterling > Mata/Depay (Whoever is playing better)
Rooney > Aguero In time for GW4 at home to Watford


Any thoughts or feedback is greatly appreciated !

I've downloaded Kane to Benteke which helped to beef up my defence. (Bellerin-->Kos and Francis-->Cedric)

Thats why you've got to shake your team up. You can't have a 4.5 million midfield starter until someone comes out of nowhere and ends up being good.

Only until Coloccini returns I would assume. As with Targett, I'm expecting both to get dropped and hopefully by GW 2/3/4, a 4.0 starter might appear due to injuries/suspensions, etc.

A bit worried that the 3 way rotation between Ritchie, Mahrez and Sakho might be a bad idea and whether I'd just be better off downgrading Mahrez/Ritchie to Fletcher and just playing him in GW1. Would probably make it easier to get Aguero in too with two transfers if I already have a cheap 5th mid in place.

Very strong team. Probably the one that sits closest with where I'm mentally at with this early season conundrum. Ozil excepted. At 8.5 (he is that right?) he is your weakspot IMO.

Considering Afellay out for Sinclair so I can upgrade Taylor. Any suggestions welcomed and appreciated. Would like to have Kane instead of Pelle but can't see where I could save.

Pretty settled on this team which is focused on getting a solid start in the first few gameweeks. Probably wildcard around GW4, bring in Kun and whoever is looking like a bandwagon. If there are any further improvements I could make to get me off to an even better start feel free to shout..

Very strong, but would change Coleman to Shaw for now. Not convinced about Cazorla either, but otherwise, can't fault it.

What do people think of Mitrovic? 6.5m, I think he has the ability to be a star, but might be a slow adapter. Think he may be worth the risk

That isn't a very appealing midfield IMO. How many goals and assists are you expecting Walters, Milner and Cazorla to get you??

Newcastle have a very tough start but he is one to keep an eye on.

The Ozil thing is a punt; I want an Arsenal MF. I could get Ramsey or Cazorla for 8.5 or spend my extra 0.5 itb by getting in Walcott but I am not sure Walcott will start. Do you think any of the above is a better option and why? Ozil can score heavily when in form.

I don't know how I feel about a guy who was only involved in 15 goals in what we consider a good season for him, at 8.5. It isn't appealing.

Personallly I'd step away from the I want an Arsenal MF mindset unless it is Walcott and you're confident in going with him. Walcott and Sanchez are the 2 appealling Arsenal midfielders unless the team are in form, scoring freely and have preferable fixtures IMO.

In the 8.5/9.0 bracket. Sterling, Depay, Fabregas, Mata, Eriksen all better options. I'd have Payet at 7.5 and Mane at 8 quicker too. That is just me though. I'm obsessed with midfielders with frequent goal threat.

I get where you are coming from 100% I just have never trusted walcott and I am not sure he'll be starting even this weekend, and if he does I am not sure about him staying there.
I think Ozil always plays for wenger when fit.
I had Cazorla for long periods last year and he served me well when in form, but Ozil tends to be a heavier scorer.

People forget that first week teams are just that, a team to take a punt on. Hopefully Ozil is on form (he's a streaky player) as Arsenal have good fixtures and generally score well. He'll be gone quick smart if he doesn't show good form when Sanchez comes back. For me it's a choice of Ozil, Ramsey or Cazorla and for whatever reason I just think Ozil is slightly more likely to score well. I definitely don't want to go without Arsenal attacking coverage.

Yeah I've Ozil in for the same reasons. I've gone without Hazard for the moment looking for better balance in the team.

BTW my other thought is to put Hendo in place of Ozil and Giroud up front in place of Bentekers (this would leave good cash for upgrades). But again my fear is that Giroud doesn't start. I'll be anxiously awaiting the team news tomorrow!!
